The Races

First Central State Bank & Central Scott Telephone
4 Mile Race – 9:00 PM

  • Starts at N 2nd and Donahue Streets in downtown Eldridge
  • Certified course – flat and fast (ASATF Certification IA15003KU)
  • Luminaries line the entire four mile course
  • Splits every mile
  • Water on the course
  • Musical entertainment provided along the course.
  • End:Result precision timing
  • Technical short sleeve tees with Size guaranteed if registered by June 23, 2023.

The Finish

  • Finishes in downtown Eldridge at N. 2nd and Franklin Streets
  • Free refreshments at finish line
  • Medical facility near finish area
  • Awards presented as soon as possible after each race in Wiese Park at the corner of 2nd and Davenport Streets (due to the time of the race finish, awards may be picked up beginning Monday, July 10 at Eldridge-North Scott Chamber of Commerce, 210 W Franklin St, Eldridge)

  • Trophies to top (4) four places in each (5) five year age division.
  • Clydesdale (males, 200 lbs+) and Athena (females, 160 lbs+) divisions. Not eligible for age group awards.

Packet Pick Up

  • Race Packets may be picked up in the basement of the Thrive Financial Building (formerly U.S. Bank) at 220 W. Davenport St., Eldridge, on Friday, July 7 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, July 8 from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
  • Registrations for the 1/4 and 1 mile races close 30 minutes prior to each race. No Registrations after 8:30 p.m.! Please pick up packets and/or register during these times to allow the race to start on time.

Parking

  • Parking is available at North Scott High School, Sheridan Meadows Park, and available side streets in Eldridge.

Kid’s Races

Mel Foster Company 1/4 Mile Run – 7:30 pm
  • Kids ages 6 and under are encouraged to participate.
  • All participants receive a finishers medallion.
  • This is a fun run, not timed, clock will be displayed.
  • Starts at N 2nd and Donahue Streets in downtown Eldridge
  • Out-N-Back Course.
  • Finishes in downtown Eldridge at N. 2nd and Franklin Streets
  • Free refreshments at finish line
Scott County Animal Hospital 1 Mile Run – 8:00 pm
  • Kids ages 7-14
  • All participants receive a finishers medallion.
  • Place winner medallions to top (4) four places in each (2) two year age division.
  • Starts at N 2nd and Donahue Streets in downtown Eldridge
  • This is a timed run.
  • Out-N-Back Course
  • Finishes in downtown Eldridge at N. 2nd and Franklin Streets
  • Free refreshments at finish line
  • Awards presented as soon as possible after each race in Wiese Park at the corner of 2nd and Davenport Streets.
